INEC has taken back its decision on banning further political campaigns ahead of this Saturday ’s General Election.
INEC had met on Monday to go through its preparations for the presidential and national assembly Elections re-scheduled to run on the 23rd February 2019.
Festus Okoye who is the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee of INEC revealed that…
“Meanwhile, after interviews with political groups, the Commission hosts endorsed that campaigns by political groups and hopefuls can continue forthwith to finish by midnight on Thursday, 21st February 2019”.
According to him, the INEC has likewise worked out in detail, solid strides to be taken to guarantee that election materials touch base at the surveying units in a great time for the quick beginning of the polls on Saturday, 23rd February 2019.
