Kano State Police Command, yesterday, strutted 24 suspects captured regarding possession of drugs and ownership of perilous weapons.
Police Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, said this while showing the suspects to newsmen at Police Headquarters in Kano. He said the suspects were captured in criminal alcoves over the state between February 28 and yesterday, including that they were dealers in cocaine, Indian hemp, tramadol tablets, and other illicit medications.
As indicated by Haruna, things recuperated from the suspects are sticks, blades, cutlasses, sword, and privately made cutlasses. He additionally said that on Saturday, one Mujahid Abubakar and Iliya Garba were captured at Sabon Gari Market in Kano possessing other dangerous narcotics.
The representative clarified that the drugs recouped from the suspects were 1,660 containers of diazepam infusion, 7,000 jugs of tranzile infusion and 2,150 tramadol infusion. Others, he included, includes 180 phenobarbital infusions, 40 penzozine infusion, 8,000 enjon merinetin infusions, 1,600 co-codamol tablets, 14 voltean infusions, and a sack containing drugs that were already used.
He said on Thursday, the command likewise apprehended one Muhammad Abdullahi of Hotoro Quarters, a wholesaler of cocaine, including that four wraps cocaine were recuperated from him.
According to Haruna, 13 suspects were secured at Sabon Gari on Thursday, who were in control of 720 cutlasses, and said that further inspection uncovered that some of them were thieves.
Also, a stolen tricycle was recuperated from them and they admitted to perpetrating all crimes there were accused of.
