President Buhari commemorates with family of two Nigerians who died in the Ethiopian plane crash

President Buhari has mourned the demise of two Nigerians, Ambassador Abiodun Bashua and Professor Pius Adesanmi in the Ethiopian Airlines plane which killed 149 traveler and eight cabin crew members on board on Sunday.

President Mohammadu Buhari’s words:

“My heart goes out to the families and companions of these recognized Nigerians and alternate travelers and group who lost their lives in the plane accident in Addis Ababa. May the Almighty Allah give them quality and mettle to hold up under the misfortune.”

The president on behalf of the general population of Nigeria stretched out his earnest sympathies to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia, the general population of Ethiopia, Kenya, Canada, China and every other country who lost their citizens in the plane crash.

Responding to the mishap on Sunday, President Buhari stated:

“Such huge scale loss of human lives in a solitary occurrence is so sad. I am significantly touched by this staggering report of air mishap including one of the world’s best and effective Airlines due to its unbeatable record. This couldn’t have happened in occurred at a terrible time for Ethiopian Airlines.”

As per President Buhari, “similar to other African leaders, I am very proud of the way that Ethiopian Airlines communicates the success of Africa.” The President trusts that the appalling mishap won’t negatively affect Ethiopian Airlines’ energy for outstanding services.
