Irish MMA contender, Conor McGregor, was apprehended on Monday evening after he allegedly crushed a fan’s smart phone out of his hand and stepped on it outside a club in Miami Beach.
McGregor, 30, is dealing with indictments of offense criminal underhandedness and solid equipped burglary.
As indicated by an arrest report gotten by the Miami Herald, McGregor and the fan were leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach inn, home to the LIV dance club, soon after 5am Monday.
A footage was later released which shows him slapping the fan’s phone out of his hand as he was snapping a picture and afterward stepped on it a few times.
McGregor then grabbed the $1,000 smart phone and left with it, police say.
Conor McGregor was later arrested Monday evening at a home in Miami Beach. He was detained at Miami-Dade Jail and was discharged from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center soon after 10 pm on a total bail of $12,500.
McGregor’s lawyer’s discharged a statement after his arrest which says:
‘Last night Conor McGregor was included a minor quarrel over a mobile phone that brought about a call to law enforcements.
‘Mr McGregor acknowledges the reaction of law and promises to totally cooperate.’
