If you can’t prove that I borrowed money, shut up- Governor Rochas tells PDP

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has called out the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to give proof that his office obtained cash from any bank; both inside and outside Nigeria.

In a statement by Governor Rochas’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, the governor accused any bank of an opposite case to “straightforwardly own up and give subtleties of such exchange for everyone to know”.

The governor gave monetary establishments seven days to straightforwardly counter the case in the event that it isn’t valid. He likewise demanded that his office did not owe any worker, including that workers’ pay rates have been paid up to the period of February 2019

The statement says: “We have thought of this position in light of the fact that the PDP is synonymous with lie and promulgation. Also, even as a party, if by chance they know any bank the legislature of Rochas Okorocha has acquired one naira from, they should make reference to such bank and express the points of interest of the exchange so people interested can speak up, else they should forever shut up.

“Inferable from Governor Okorocha’s momentous accomplishments, rivals of his administration have in every case mistakenly inferred that Governor Rochas must have borrowed from banks, Its more of the reason we are presently expressing transparency that the Rescue Mission organization which Owelle Okorocha has superintended for right around eight years currently has not obtained cash from any bank.”
