President Mohammadu Buhari has ordered the immediate removal of all trucks causing gridlock on the Apapa roads in Lagos state.

A statement was released on the presidency’s official twitter handle @AsoRock, which has ordered all truck operators and drivers to vacate all roads leading to the port within 72 hours.

Efforts of different governments to contain the traffic gridlock in the area have all be futile.
