4.8 magnitude earthquake hits Kenya


A light quake hit a few areas in Kenya on Sunday, including Nairobi, Nyeri, Mombasa, Machakos, Makueni, Tharaka Nithi, Taita Taveta, and Kiambu.

The earth tremors were experienced on Sunday evening at around 7 pm and went on for a few seconds.

The Kenya Meteorological Department affirmed the quake in a telephone call to NTV Kenya yet said there is no reason to get excited.
