When Boosie turned to rap, he was introduced to a fellow rapper, C-Loc, and became a member of ‘Concentration Group’ at just 14. Torrence made his debut on C-Loc’s fifth album, “It’s A Gamble,”

In 2000, he released his debut studio album, “Youngest Of Da Camp,” which sold over 10,000 copies in the United States. Two years later, he followed up by dropping his second studio album, “For My Thugz.”

His third studio album, “Bad Azz,” gained enormous commercial success and bagged the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Rap charts. In 2008, Boosie introduced his record label, “Bad Azz Entertainment.” He released his fourth album, “Incarcerated,” while in prison for drug possession charges.
